This little guy is my HERO!

I just love what he has to say.

I've had my first day with my Kindergarten babies and they are going to be full of challenges and lots of hugs this year. I've got a classroom that is going to be so fun and very, very lively!

I saw lots of teacher's post this prayer but it is so true and spoke volumes to my heart. Every student in my room this year was picked and I have to count my blessings about the children the Lord has blessed me with! I pray that this prayer is on my heart every morning while I am prepping for the day.

For all of my MSU friends, our school colors are maroon and white. Look what the required "shirt" was today. To say this die hard REBEL was okay was this still stands! :) Also, Starbucks was bought for a "happy" on the first day.

I'm so excited to begin this school year and I'll be sure to update you over on my teaching blog! Also, Facebook, twitter and Pinterest will be full of my happies too! For all of my teacher friends, let's all remember this:

Let me know your thoughts, ladies!

When it all began.

I'm a TEACHER!
It's going wonderful.
Let's begin with Thursday. It was my first day with my firsties. I wasn't nervous at all which suprised me BIG TIME! I knew that I was exactly where God wanted me because of this and it made me totally at peace. :)

My kiddos knew exactly what to do when they got there and most sat down, listened, and I was a very surprised teacher! It went amazing for my 1st day and I couldn't wait to start the day and finish, just to say that I had done it

We made it okay during the day and a lot of rules were taught and plans for what would happen were shared. Lunch time has always been what I was nervous about but ours went off without a hitch. But.. I did have one student use the bathroom on them self and that was nerve wrecking but it was handled very well. Then.. one student got left behind but luckily was picked up only 20 minutes after school. :)
I would say it's going to be wonderful.

My kids were so sweet and I know that we are going to have a great year.

I'm so tired and I can't wait to share some pictures with you! :)

Thank you all for your prayers.

First Days.

Hey Friends!
I'm still alive.. barely. I have been so busy with In-Teacher Service and getting my room prepared that the blog has fell by the wayside. Promise I'll be back soon. :)

I had my FIRST open house tonight and I am so excited about what the year holds. My parents/students were so sweet and seem very helpful and excited about me being their teacher. I am stressed but honestly I am so excited that I can't be super nervous right now. I know that God has me in the right place and that he will help me get through these first weeks. I'm so excited so stay tuned to see how it goes.

My "firsties" come Thursday, so I am sure that there will be a blog post about my 1st day! :)

Hope you are having the times of your life.

Just a few of my favorites right now.

I love my door and my morning chart! :)
