Hey Friends! It's been a while and for that, I'm sorry!

Life has been busy and I've been lazy, if you really want the truth! :)

I'm home today for a sick day, feelin' yucky so I figured.. why not blog?

And I'm sure that Pinterest will be on my agenda today as well while I'm wrapped up in my pink chevron blanket.

Do you find yourself on Pinterest for hours a day? I know I do! Love this place.

Hey lovely readers!

You all know I adore Instagram. What better way to show you what I've been doing lately! Watch and be amazed. Believe me you will be jealous! bahahaha.. Note my sarcasm.

{one} Loving my Peter's Pottery mug! It held my first cup of hot chocolate for the fall and it was wonderful! :) {two} Love, love, love my red and blue weekend outfit! All from Old Navy!! except for the bubble necklace of course! :)

{three} My sweet mama bought me this Happy Halloween mat! Isn't it cute? I'm not really all about the gaudy, gory halloween decor. Don't get me wrong, if its your thing GO FOR IT, but I'm just not feeling it. I thought this fit in with my decor perfectly! {four} and finally, my precious living room! This place is where I spend 99.9% of my time and it's what I spend the most money on! I pretty much stole this pumpkin canvas from a store last summer for $5.00. Think I got a deal?

{one} My room doesn't look like this madhouse anymore. Granted, it isn't completed but we are working on it! :)

{two} I love, love, love the olympics. Now, let me explain. I might not watch it 24/7, and half of the time I don't even know what is going on. But, I love the atmosphere and the pride that goes along with being from the USA and having the awesome athletes that we do representing our great nation!

{three} so thankful for books that are God breathed and helpful in any situations that I might be going through. I came home this afternoon, had a horrible headache, and took a bubble bath. You know those days? Well, here is what I found today while doing a little bathtub reading:

It feels like forever, ladies!

I'm stressing because I can't work in my classroom, YET so let's just have a little fun and pretend that I live in a perfect world! :)

BTW: this is my last Wednesday post before I am a "teacher" again. I'm sorta sad about this.

but, thank you Lord for a job!

{one} I am very, very thankful that my God provides and he is always watching out for us, even when we don't deserve it. I've realized lately that I need to get back on fire for him and do what I know is right every minute, every day.

{two}I'm loving that Dollar Tree/Target have dollar items that are perfect for my classroom. :) It's too much fun to go in there and just play!

{three}I'm loving that I had a chance to have lunch with a sweet friend yesterday who I've not seen in a while. It's good to catch up and share your life with others. It does this Southern soul good!

{four}I'm loving that my parents are always there for me and are willing to help! I know that I repeat myself a lot but I just am so thankful for their help! Such sweet people, I tell you. 39 years of marriage last week. Love is evident. :)
