{Thrift Shopping} I've really gotten into this thrift thing. I started thrifting about 5 years ago and it's become a big hobby. Yes, sometimes I buy things I don't need but don't we ALL? :)

{Army Wives} This show is so much fun! I pretend while watching it that I am a wife of a Soldier and it seriously hits home. I know that sounds silly but I have so many friends that have family members that are fighting and I feel like that's a way that I can "truly" connect to their lives and understand partly what they go through.

{Diet Coke}Why, oh why, does it have to be bad for me? It's definitely something that helps me get through the day. It's funny because I've heard people say that teachers are the #1 drinkers of this drink. Wonder why? We all need a pick me up from these crazy kids who are ready for summer!

{nail polish} Essie, OPI, cheapo-depo from CVS. Matters not. I love! It's so much fun to have all these colors to choose from. Come to my house and I'll give you a Mani/Pedi.

Choose color, I do for good price. :)

{McCarty} Pottery is my weakness! I love the nutmeg glaze and I have it ALL over my house. My mother started this for me and it's become a fun tradition in my family. So, if you are ever at a loss of what to send to me, Get McCarty! :)

1.) Sleeping In: I absolutely cannot wait until I can stay up all night and sleep all morning! The best feeling ever. My days will be planned on how late I can sleep in.

2.) Beach Trip!- This is the first year that "us girls" are going on a family beach trip. I couldn't be more excited! We are going to Gulf Shores and it is going to be epic. Can't wait to recap for you about all of our lovely adventures!

3.) Family time, galore!- We always do fun things during the summer. Shopping trips, trying new restaurants, and hanging out outside. Can't wait to spend all the time I want with the family.

4.) Impromptu Road trips- My friend, Shell and I are notorious for doing this. We decide where to go that morning and we take all day getting ~~lost~~ there and having fun making memories. Seriously, we've ended up some places we shouldn't be and some places that we love that we discovered! :)

5.) Getting Paid even though I'm not working- I'm grateful for a job that pays even when I'm not "working". Mind you, I'll still be thinking about lesson plans, little kiddos, and ways to better my classroom for their future. I can't wait for my new children. I know that I will learn something new everyday just as I have this year!

Today's topic. 5 Beauty Products that I love/can't live without.

This is not my niche. I love makeup but I don't ENJOY playing with it and experimenting new trends. Here's my simple, southern take on it.

1.) Foundation- We get this for a great price at our local flea market. Goes on smooth and I love how I don't feel like I have lots of goop on my face. :)

2.) Mascara- I love mascara. Probably my favorite accessory! I love the way I can layer mascara and make those lashies supa black and long! What I use the most of, below.

Maybelline Great Lash Washable Mascara, Very Black

3.) Primer with Sunscreen for this white child.

4.) Eyeliner. My 2nd favorite thing! I love the way it makes my eyes stand out!
Really doesn't matter the brand. I like them all. Usually what's on sale.

5.) My pinterest-inspired makeup brush holder. I love this because it's easy to find all my brushes in one place! Coffee beans an added prize. Love the smell in those early mornings!
