Weekends go by too quickly.

Seriously, I feel like it just started. Let's recap the weekend. Oh, how I live for these precious times!

Friday night, the girls had bunco. Afterwards we decided to grace the square and look for Matthew McConaughey and all of his glory. Well, that was a fail but look who I DID meet! I'll take it. 

Then, Saturday rolls around. My daddy, brother, and grandmother all have birthdays in September so Mi Familia decided to drive to Memphis and eat at Texas de Brazil. I think I'm still full! So much fun.

This happened..

I walked to the stadium around halftime and low and behold this dude is getting arrested in front of my eyes. Caitlyn and I are being SUPER nosey but who wouldn't be! We stood there while this dude talked to us and everyone around us. He was so excited and not too sad that he was going to jail.

Come to find out, he was the streaker! Oh, I love the experiences I have!

The yankee decided to come home and watch his Rebels and see his lovely lady this weekend! So glad I got to see these two. 

Wedding is SOOOOON!

Wore this outfit Sunday to Church and loved it. Pinterest inspired for sure!

Rebel Weekend!

It's been a wonderful, weekend! 

Tailgating in the Grove, wearing my red and blue, and spending time with my friends. 

People, it's a grand time when I'm in my little piece of Heaven.

weekend dump.

this weekend was fun, exhausting, and full of being tired!

My mother, cousin, and I decided that we "needed" some more pottery so we drove to the Delta and got us some MORE Peter's Pottery.

this involved sleeping in our cars with mosquitoes, overnight and also getting rained on just a little. But, we got some pottery for a cheaper price and that always makes this girl happy!

{one} Harper loves to have her head out the window. But, then she sneezes and that ruins the fun! 

{two} On my way home-home, I saw the famous hay bale. They change it with the seasons! Almost that time, HOTTY TODDY!

{three} My Peter's Pottery purchases. Tongue twister, but love my new things! :)

{four} Mrs. Leslie found this at Goodwill! Love friends who do random fun/kind things. Fun fact- Mrs. Leslie taught me how to thrift/Goodwill shop. Makes it even more special.

I've got a good post ready for this week! Get ready. It'll show you some things I've been thinking about lately!

Oh, my goodness! I haven't blogged in a week. I'm so glad to be back. First grade has started and I'm a happy teacher so far! It's going so well!

Now, for you McCarty collectors. I was perusing the isles at Goodwill last week and found this piece for .99! I was so excited I could have screamed. For those of you who think that I am looney, this piece runs for about $35.00! :)

Last but not least, little Lynlee at church yesterday! Oh, the nursery makes me full of joy! I can't wait to be a mama one day!

{blonde and poofy}- I've got the highlighted blonde down but the poof isn't happening. If I could, I would. Most southern belles love a good poof. Highlighted hair is IN. Most of us go to the hair salon to get our hair did. It's just something we do.

{make up} Southern girls love blush and lip stick. My mama firmly believes that no girl should leave the house without lipstick and full makeup. I'm sorry to say that I let her down often. Sorry mom.

this sweet baby, Harper has gotten sooo bad! She is getting to where she just cannot handle strangers. She barks, growls, bites, and nags until we have to put her in a seperate room. It's so sad but I can't risk letting her do something terrible. Bad girl!

I'm so happy the family came over today and visited. It was a treat getting to see them some other time besides Christmas. This is my cousin, J, and he is home from an almost 2 year stint in the Peace Corp. He had a little medical scare and we are all thankful that the Lord brought him home. Cousins think alike-- look at those Chacos!



Look at those personalized dressing rooms. I think that this is so cute! The store we were in is one of my favorite boutiques to shop at in Oxford, and what don't I like in zebra print!?

A friend of mine bought this shelf for her house and I love it! If you know where I can get one that looks something like this I neeeeeeeed it! :) Let me know!
