This week has been an emotional roller coaster and I'm ready for what's ahead.  i think.

I'm going to Heaven on Earth and seeing the Rebels hopefully pull off another WIN! I'm so excited with how our team is really putting forth an effort. SEC football has my heart! Hotty Toddy!

My family is taking Family Portraits at Rowan Oak and I couldn't be more excited! We haven't had a professional picture in forever! It'll be fun! Just pray we don't kill each other....

hello my blog readers! I feel like it has been forever and a day!

this daylight savings time has thrown me for a loop. I feel like I have bronchitis and I'm exhausted and feel like it's midnight. (it's 5:51, to be exact)

So, this past week and weekend was cuhhhraaazzzzy. I've packed lots of stuff in and I've made some wonderful memories. What do you get when you mix 3 spunky ladies, 4 meals eaten at yummy restaurants, and a wonderful church service with said people.

we attended the Helen Brett Jewelry show, one of our FAVORITE traditions and these were the purchases! Oh, how I love it.

we seriously had a blast staying up late and doing life together. Please, promise me this one thing.

The Good. The Bad. No Ugly.

Hello my friends! Hope you had a wonderful, exciting weekend! I sure didn't have my busiest weekend but it was just as nice. So, let's get started, shall we?

First: Friday night, the best and I met in Oxford and hung out on the square watching the crazies, and soaking up every bit of fun that we could. I'm pretty sure I've helped make her into a huge "Oxford" admirer. I'm pretty dang proud...

Second:  My Rebels pulled an SEC win Saturday and I could have maybe did cry a little! It was a wonderful victory and I enjoyed sitting on my couch watching the game in my pjs. BUT... What I would have given to be in my Red dress, waving my pom-pom and yelling Hotty Toddy over and over and over again. But, these were our good/awesome/bad scenes from the game. Whoever put this together, you did good my friend. These plays were awesome! I can't tell you how proud I am of our team stepping up and playing like us LOYAL fans have been waiting to see!

Third: Mama and I went shopping after the game Saturday and I bought some wonderful fall candles at Bath and Body Works. Go check them out, seriously. I might have been in there 30 minutes because I can't make decisions. :) I.love.fall.time.

Fourth: It's Monday. 8:00 at Horn Lake Elementary, one of my babies vomited on the carpet and guess who had to call the janitor because she couldn't handle it? ME! It was awful and I felt so sorry for him. Does it make me a sweeter teacher that I half held him/walked him to the bathroom to clean up!? Poor, poor baby.

and Fifth: I'm going this weekend on a girls outing to meet a jewelry designer. Want to take a guess who it is? I'll be posting about this, I am sure! So excited. Is it Friday yet? I am not going to be a negative nanny and wish this week away. I can do this! 

Happy Monday! We've got 4 days to make a difference in someone's life. Let's do this!

Dear Sleep.  I haven't seen you much in the past 2 days. I'm ready for us to be friends            again! Okay?

Dear Mama.  I'm so thankful that you are always there to back me up and make me feel safe. It's a good thing that God knew we needed each other. We make a good team!

Dear Spring Break. Please hurry! I'm not trying to wish my life away, promise. But, I can't wait to sleep late and do pretty much what I want during your short stay. 

Dear McCarty Sale.  You lived up to the other years! It was tons of fun! See you next year, maybeeee.

Dear Pinterest, Facebook, and Twitter.  Why must you tempt me to not do what I need to be doing and to play with you! Ugh! You get me in trouble!

So glad it's almost Tuesday! Short week for me! I took a "Mental Health" day today! It was wonderful! :)

Here we go again, Monday. Why are you here already?

This weekend was spent with friends, family, and celebrating the upcoming marriage of a precious friend! 

Shopping with my mama was fun as always and I scored this cute Steve Madden purse from TJMaxx. :)

I also got some Jessica Simpson flats and this cute fingernail polish. There's my shopping for the month! haha.

I was so glad that I finally got some time to catch up with the best and my dear family! We enjoyed Mexican food, gossiping, and sharing our lives. :)

This little lady, soon to be, Mrs. Hendrix, was showered with "personals" on Saturday night. This picture sums up our fun little shower. She's precious and so ready to be married! I can't wait to share in her big day! Ahhhh!

Yeah, I'm a First Year!

Here's to already missing a day of school. I have Bronchitis! No fun!

I noticed Thursday that I felt worse than I had all week and before the day was over I could barely talk and my breathing was getting worse. After another doctor's visit, a breathing treatment, and a chest x-ray, I was diagnosed with the B. No fun, I tell you!

I was miserable and knew that my mother would be home on Friday to take care of me, so off driving home I went. Best decision I've ever made? No! But... my family, and home was exactly what I needed to help me feel better.

I've been reading some teaching material, thinking about lesson plans for the following week and trying to mix a little fun into getting well. It's hard but doable.



So excited that we bought this book today. I love it already! Can't wait to see the movie with some friends from school! :)
