this weekend was the perfect fall weekend.
hot chocolate, soups, hayrides, scarves and boots. I. love.everything.about.fall.
Our church had a great time at our Fall Festival and I had the pleasure of loving on some wonderful adults and people. God gave me a beautiful church family and I'm very thankful for it.
I got to babysit my sweet girls after the festival so their mama and daddy could go to the class reunion. We had a fun time playing and watching movies. I love these littles.

now for the evidence that this weekend was too much fun.

Sunday Fun-day

Sunday, November 6, 2011

It's been one of those days!

Saturday was Wedding #1 of this month. My cousin Adam and his fiancee Meagan. I played match-maker for this couple when I was a Freshman in college and it happened to work out. She was a beautiful bride and they had a very laid back wedding and everyone enjoyed themselves.

I bought a new dress to sit at the registry table and I loved it! :)

The happy Bride and Groom

They drove off on a Fire truck and it caused me to look into the future and just see Adam and his bride doing this. Totally his element! Such a sweet moment.

After the wedding, Mama, Linda, and I drove back to my apartment and went out to eat before calling it a night. We stayed up late talking and then finally went to bed about midnight.

This morning we got up and went to the Helen Brett jewelry show and it was so much fun! Mama and I have gone for about 2 years but this year seemed to have such better stuff. We bought lots and had a great time!

Just a little dreaming...

I missed being at church this morning, but this day was lots of fun! Here's to a great week ahead.

Not long till Thanksgiving break...

The First Day of the Week.

Happy Sunday, everyone!

It's been one of those weekends where I am utterly exhausted but so thankful that I am.
It's been fun!

Friday- We had a field trip to the Memphis Botanical Gardens. My firsties had fun and it was overall a good day. I wasn't able to take pictures because you know-- I was trying to make sure I didn't loose a kid! :)
(Haley-- Mission Accomplished, thanks for the prayers! )

Then.. Friday night.. oh, Friday night. I was treated to this lovely place

by my brother and enjoyed one of the best meals of my life. Seriously, GO!!

Thanks, Adam! It's now one of my favorite places.

Saturday- woke up and got ready for an all day shopping trip! Linda Ray and I went all over Memphis, seriously, and had such a good day. Ate some great food, have coffee, and spent money that we probably didn't need to!

I got a cute dress, some seven jeans @ Tjmaxx,  and talked about LIFE. I just love fun days with family. Exactly what I needed.
I, of course, missed going home but I love weekends in Southaven.

then, today-- Visited Longview Heights Baptist Church and LOVED it! Hopefully I have found the place that God wants me to be a part of and serve. We'll see..

Just some pictures from the weekend.

love this owl necklace. Goes with everything! :)

my old door living room decoration!

Just a preview of what I want! haha!

Shopping Outfit. The boots are BACK!

Christmas is already being prepared!

Hoping for a great week! :)

I want to be in that parade.

What parade, You ask?
This morning @ DeSoto Hills Baptist, the preacher preached about getting on board and telling others about the wonderful relationship that we have with our Lord. Telling others about what he has done for us and how we love him so!

He brought up the fact that we all get in ruts at sometime or another in our lives but it's how we overcome them and persevere through them that shows who we really are as a person.  Ever watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade?? I have! It's a tradition to get up on Thanksgiving morning, watch the parade, and then have a wonderful meal with the family and give thanks for all that God has blessed us with.
Should we wait for Thanksgiving Day to give thanks or can we do it any day of the week?
I think we all know that answer!

God has given me a comfortable life, a loving Mama and Daddy who are still together and has shown me what a loving marriage is supposed to look like, a brother who is a protector, and family/friends who are like none other. He has given me multiple opportunities to witness on mission trips for him, and show my love for others in many different ways. He has provided grace and forgiveness in those times when I have messed up and he has helped me show love towards those who are not so lovable.

It just does my heart good to THANK him for all his goodness!

We should lead people to him by our lives and actions and how we treat others. I was convicted in what I am NOT doing for the Lord and I know that he has plans to help me show others him!

This weekend has been fun, fun! Michelle and Miss Lilly came into town and we shopped, went and saw Final Destination 5 (gracious help me), and ate some delicious meals!
Harper wasn't sure if she liked her or not, but they did get along pretty well!
See you soon, Lilly!--
Woof,
Harper

Hope your Sunday is full of love!
