It's that time of the week! Almost FRIDAY! :)

I'm loving....

{one} Weekly McCalisters trip before church. I'm pretty sure they know my meal when I walk in the door. :) Oh, so good. I die for their sweet tea. 

{two} Tomorrow is Thursday and that means one day closer to FRIDAY! Am I the only teacher that feels this way EVERY week???? Please tell..

{three} That this weekend is our Annual McCarty Pottery Girls trip! Camping out in the storm Friday night and getting lots of good deals. I CAN'T WAIT! I'm also turning down a FREE wedding trip to the beach for this trip. YOU, better be worth it! :)

This week has been so much better in this teacher's world. My kiddos are VERY sick though. I've dealt with over 100 degree fever, pink eye, and regurgitating all week, POOR BABIES! I'm ready for this cold and flu season to kick the bucket!

What are your plans for this weekend? Aren't all you teacher friends so ready for Spring Break. I'm ready for sleeping late, Grey's reruns, and shopping. Oh boy! Here we go!

Dear Monday,    In two weeks I will be sleeping late, shopping, and pretty much doing whatever I wish. Otherwise knows as, SPRING BREAK! I couldn't be more excited.

Dear Grey's Anatomy, I'm ready for you on Thursday. I miss you because of Bible study but I love catching up to your awesome show. Kind of makes me want to become a doctor. Not really.

I want to leave a Legacy!

Hello friends! 


I've been such a bad blogger! It's been a crazy week and I hopefully will have more time to blog this coming up week!


I went to a NEW Sunday school class this morning and I loved it! God is putting the puzzle pieces of my "new" life together and I love it! I'm trusting him completely and I can't wait to see what he has in store. :)


We talked about legacies, and if you knew that you only had a certain amount of time left before you die, what would you want your legacy to be. Of course, I used association (I'm a teacher) and I thought about Junior year at North Pontotoc High School.  


We were picked to be a part of the Leadership program and this was our graduation song that they chose for us. I loved it and it has meant so much throughout the years for me.





So, lets think.  Here's what I would like my LEGACY to be!


Lauren was a lady who's heart reflected our Savior's.  She loved people as he did, and she lived her life to bring honor and glory to him! She's wasn't perfect and never proclaimed to be, but she wanted to see the best in people and bring that out for others to see.  She had a heart for Special Needs children and adults and believed that they should have every opportunity that anyone else in this world has. She loved babies/children with all that she was and loved spending time with them and pouring into their lives.


Her family was her world and she knew that God  hand picked them for her. She was blessed, and knew it. She thanked God for her blessings often.


So, I leave you with this thought.

Hey friends! This weekend has been so much fun! Friday night we had BUNCO at my Mother's house and it was a hoot as always. :)

These are some of the gifts that were given. I had so much fun shopping for them and giving them. Pottery, candles, and dishtowels-- every girls' favorites, right?


Now for some more fun. Saturday, Linda, my mother, Bre-Anna, and I went to the Jewelry show in Memphis. So much fun! Bought a scarf and some jewelry. :) We had too much fun.


As I was sitting at home today resting, I looked through my iPhone camera and realized that if I would get rid of some of those pics that I take, my phone might be a little easier to manage. I'm going to rid it of some of my photos that I would love to share. Ready for the madness??

So glad Alti decided to have a flat when I had plenty of help to come get me off the side of the  road. I hate this kind of stuff. :( I have the best brother, future SIL and friends anyone could ask for. :)
