Hello, I'm exhausted.

This weekend has been full of fun, laughter, traveling, and buying.

The annual McCarty sale. =I'm.beat.

Here is what we got. It's tradition and something that I look forward to every year. But.. it's worse than Christmas!

I'm So thankful..

One-- My 10-day lesson plan is over and defeated! I made a great score on it and I couldn't be happier. This   part of my life is about to be over. I.can.not.believe.it. Scary!

two- I'm thankful for Kindergarteners and the insight that they choose to bless me with. "Mrs. Lauren, I know how to milk a cow.  You pull their tail."  Love it!

y three-- It's almost the weekend. It's much needed.

four-- Parents who love me unconditionally and would do anything for me. Sacrificial for sure!

five-- DiscipleNow is this weekend and I'm going to be helping our church.  Let is be for you, God!

six-- I have so much to do but so thankful for the ability to get it all done!

What I'm Loving Wednesday.

My kiddos at school make my day with their crazy selves. Just being innocent and sweet!

I'm teaching my 10-day lesson tomorrow and getting it over with. After that, two months of a few projects and having fun with my kinders and I'm on the countdown to graduation! 

I don't want to talk about it. It's starting to hit me and I must say that I am pretty sad about it!

Thankful that my brother's injury from the other day is healing. Thank you Lord!

Top 2 Things You've learned about Money:

1.) It's the Root of All Evil. Okay, as we all know that's Biblical. I don't believe that money is just green stuff that should lay around (obviously) ha! but.. I do believe that as Americans many of us have abused money and use it to try and show how much that we have or what we can buy with "our" money.  I love, am obsessed with shopping but I often look back at what I've bought and think about how I really didn't NEED what I have.  I believe that money is something that is necessary and fun but often causes more trouble than pleasure!

2.) I love clipping coupons to help save some money-- Every Sunday, I carefully observe the coupons that are given but often am disappointed in what I see.  I usually only find 1 or 2 that relate to things that I buy on a regular basis but it thrills me to know that I have a coupon.  I want to be one of those people that can go in a store and save $50 dollars on groceries. That would be awesome!

r Maya Angelou quotes Now onto other news--- This baby has been BAD today. She chewed up my iPhone charger cord and it is dead! Ugh! She got chewed out. No worries, she's not going back to the doggie place yet! :) (Her nonna will kill me when she reads this.)

and.. today at lunch, one of my students says, "Here Miss Lauren" and gives me a 100 calorie chocolate chip cookie.  I take a bite and realize that it tastes AWFUL! I check the date on the pack and it expired in 2009. Oh, just 2 years ago. Poor kid. I quickly told her to give me the cookies that she could have no more. She wasn't happy but at least I'm not letting her die from grossness. 

It's been a good day!

Miscellany Monday.

1.) I'm about to buy $25 dollars worth of music off Itunes and I am soo excited! .. No worries. It's a giftcard!

2.) I love picking out baby names for my children one day. Actually, planning for every special event in my life is fun for me! Call me weird if you would like.

3.) I have a new hobby! Jewelry making. I'm gonna make it big. haha

4.) My lunch at school today was horrible. 

That reminds me.. I need to get groceries.

5.) I love the feeling during a church service when you just realize how much God loves you and how much he has blessed you. Man! Life is good! 

Remember my brother. He had an injury to his rotator cuff today while training with the fire department (where he works).  Praying that surgery isn't his outcome!

Much.needed. Weekend.

The weekend is over. I'm a little bummed. 

But.. It's ok because I had a great weekend. You know sometimes you just have those weeks where you are tired of everything and just want to hang out with friends and let your troubles worry about themselves? Well.. I had one of those weeks last week and I knew that it was time for girls night out in! 

My friend, Merle, had taken her Nursing Boards test and so stress was at a max for her as well.. so friend time just needed to happen.  Merle,Brittany, and I,  met up Friday and decided to go eat at our favorite Mexican Restaurant. Too good! Then.. we decided to go home, put on our pj's, and relax! The best decision we've ever made. :)

This is us, Sophomore year of college. Halloween Costume Party!!

Saturday was filled with shopping, eating at the best southern restaurant, Cracker Barrel, and then seeing my mother and grandmother! 

Today, I worked on a little craft project, filled out a job application. Geez, these things are too intense, and worshiped my Lord at church!

i'd say it was a great weekend. :)

Fill In the Blank Friday!

Good gracious! Thank you Lord for Fridays. 

After working with kindergarteners for 5 days, the weekend is a beautiful piece of heaven from my Lord! Seriously, people! Those precious babies wear me OUT. 

I have been very sad that my blogging was almost ZIP this week. Promise I'll get back on track soon.  School was crazy and lots of projects due but hopefully most of it is completed now.

This next week is going to be full of job applications and praying for a job next fall. You should pray for me too! K, thanks!? 

Now...

1.  If I could  medal in an olympic event it would be the bobsled because it looks like it would be a mix of thrill/scary/the fastest rush I would ever experience!

2.  If I was stranded on a deserted island I'd take my Bible, my iPod, and some friends. I need a good balance of alone time and company.

3.  OCD tendencies  are my most irrational fear.(such as--things out of place and odd numbers.)

4.  I'd rather deal with puke, snot (even though it freaks me out), and feces  everyday,  than see or pull a loose tooth everyday.

5.  I am ready to do some new craft projects. Come on spare time.. Where are you?

6.  I should really be  applying for jobs for next fall. Instead, I'm watching Tyler Perry movies with the girls! I just love nights like this...

7.  One of my favorite things in all the world is shopping with my family and friends/getting a good cup of coffee from Starbucks on a COLD day!
