iPhone dump.

Tuesday, September 25, 2012

Well, the time has come. My trusty little iPhone decided to say that I had hardly any memory left so I got to thinking. Most of my pictures are on instagram or my blog so why not delete them. But, then I wanted to cry. Seriously! I might be a little attached to the memories they remind me of.

Anywho, so today I share with you some of my latest pics that I love and adore and then they will probably be deleted to make room for all the memories I have ahead.

Don't think I'm crazy! I'm really not a psycho....

My mother and grandmother came to the 'Big" city this weekend and we had a very short and fun time together. I just love when my family takes time to make me have a piece of "home" in Southaven and these two definitely know how to do that.

First, we have my new "Lilly" planner! I have been wanting one of these for so long and never could find it. My little grandmother wanted to go to Dillards and there they were. Thanks, Mom! So glad we went. I love my new life planner. Now, I need to plan....
Then, my sweet Harper was looking too cute sulking-- so I had to take her picture.
Now, Look who it is. The Full House cast! How fun!! This is one of my favorite "childhood" shows. They all look so cute, still. We need to be "real-life" friends.

Last, this is one of my MANY pinterest " I want to be cute" pins and I decided to try it out on Saturday. It wasn't a complete fail, actually I kind-of like the outfit. Seriously girls! What did we do without pinterest?

Isn't she the cutest Grandmother? Love, love, love her!

Mother dear! Love her toooo! :)

Dear Friday...

borrowed from this cutesy blog

Dear elementary school:You know I love you, because you are my job and all but.. I'm so glad I don't have to grace your presence for a couple of days. Dear Old Navy: I just spent a small fortune on your clothes. Now, make me look like a model in them and they'll be even more worth my while! :) Dear Mama and Mom: If you are confused, that's my mother and grandmother. I can't wait to see y'all tomorrow. Even though it'll be a short visit, I. Can't. Wait. Dear Fall Break: Please HURRY! I need a few days for my sanity. Dear Fall: So glad you are hear. Please stay as long as you would like! I'm loving the cool nights, harvest candles, and change in the air.

Hope you have had a wonderful Friday! Let's live it up this weekend!

Caitlyn- 23, Pontotoc, Mississippi

World--Meet Caitlyn.

Oh, this girl! I've known her for 12 years and I couldn't ask for a better friend. Of course we have had our ups and down but we have a good, good time together!

Moving on... We both have such a yearning for dating the PERFECT guy, marrying our prince, and having beautiful, sweet babies (girls, at that). Believe me, we talk about this more often than we talk about anything.

I've picked three things that describe her to a tee. Just sit back and enjoy.

{her heart of giving}
Caitlyn is seriously the best gift-giver. She always is right on target and loves to celebrate the important times in a person's life. She can make you feel like the most special person in the world. Her husband will be one, lucky man!

{she loves her family}
(her mama especially)

She is a family person, just as I am. She loves coming home to spend time with her sweet family and making memories with the people she loves. She needs a man who enjoys family time as much as she does.

{she is one spunky girl}
Whatever man gets her will have to always be on his toes. She loves to have a good time and is very easy to please! She enjoys going to movies, and doing things that are spur of the moment. I'm serious she goes with the flow.

oh and by the way... Look how cute your kids will be...

I know that our Sweet Savior has a plan for her and her dreams WILL come true! She is such a blessing in my life and even though sometimes I want to wring her neck, I know that we will be sitting in our houses 20 years from now talking about where the time has gone. Hopefully our little girls will be divas together!

So boys and/or sisters, friends, cousins.... contact this girl.
She's a gem.

Or you can contact her at divalifeincollege@gmail.com

Can't wait to see what happens!

Help me remember, Lord!

{shopping}

Ah! It's the truth, PROMISE!

Love my new background for the good ole' iPhone. Thanks, shell!

Weekends go by too quickly.

Seriously, I feel like it just started. Let's recap the weekend. Oh, how I live for these precious times!

Friday night, the girls had bunco. Afterwards we decided to grace the square and look for Matthew McConaughey and all of his glory. Well, that was a fail but look who I DID meet! I'll take it.

Then, Saturday rolls around. My daddy, brother, and grandmother all have birthdays in September so Mi Familia decided to drive to Memphis and eat at Texas de Brazil. I think I'm still full! So much fun.
Happy Birthday people!!!

This happened..
I walked to the stadium around halftime and low and behold this dude is getting arrested in front of my eyes. Caitlyn and I are being SUPER nosey but who wouldn't be! We stood there while this dude talked to us and everyone around us. He was so excited and not too sad that he was going to jail.
Come to find out, he was the streaker! Oh, I love the experiences I have!

The yankee decided to come home and watch his Rebels and see his lovely lady this weekend! So glad I got to see these two.
Wedding is SOOOOON!

Wore this outfit Sunday to Church and loved it. Pinterest inspired for sure!

I've ran out of topics to blog on. Help me people!!

Enjoy your week. God is blessing us people!

Monday, September 10, 2012

What a great, great weekend!

Friday night dinner with the family, Rebels WIN, 2-0 baby! and a fun time in my little piece of Heaven, The Grove!
This phonephotofunMonday will be packed with game photos from the good ole' iPhone.
Are you Ready?

On our way to see our Rebels play! :)

Found Rachel at the Grove! She is such a sweet, sweet girl! So glad blogging brought us together as friend.

Saw this lady, who I have been friends with for 23 years!

Duck Dynasty did the Hotty Toddy cheer.
If you are a big fan, it was epic. I seriously wasn't super impressed.

It's amazing who you see walking to your seats! Sweet Gloria Kellum. This lady is a huge family friend and she also was my mama's boss for all of my growing up years! I will always treasure our relationship! :)

Could game day get any prettier!? The weather was cooler, beautiful weather! Oh, can it stay this way please??

You know! Just a little Grove action with the QB, Bo Wallace! I was a happy lady! Sweet Landon! Thanks for taking the picture with me!

Sara Shelton! It was wonderful seeing you. So happy that we got to catch up! It's been way too long!

Sunday Shoes! Love these for this season! Sorry for the one random picture!

What do you know? These are school related! I've got this! :)

1.  My favorite grade in school was    senior year of course! Such a fun, fun time! We ran the school! The only paddling I ALMOST got was senior year. I rolled the principal's yard!

2.  My favorite teacher was  Can't name! Being from a small town, I had so many! I really liked all the teachers I had and some a little more! :)

3.  The highest level of education I have completed is    a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Special Education! So, so thankful! I'm starting my Master's in the Spring. Well, that cat is out of the bag...

4. School lunches for me were usually    whatever the cafeteria had for lunch. Yuck!

5. The amount of money you'd have to pay me to go back to high school would be  $500. I would go back today! Is that sad? It was wonderful growing up and going to North! It felt like one BIG family!

6. A few things that will always remind me of going back to school are:  new school supplies, new shoes, and that nervous feeling that my teacher's would be nice. Oh, my poor firsties! Whatever are they thinking...

7.  The first day of school was always   exciting and a new adventure. I was always so organized and worried about starting off right. Oh, to be in that position again!

Seriously! I loved my school years! Some of the best memories that I have! College was the best! :)

Rebel Weekend!

It's been a wonderful, weekend!
Tailgating in the Grove, wearing my red and blue, and spending time with my friends.
People, it's a grand time when I'm in my little piece of Heaven.

Now, for some pictures..

my sweet brother let me get in the back of the cop car. So scary.

this is what my Saturday consisted of. Grove, Football game, and great tailgating food!
Thanks to the Hughes for sharing your food and tent with us! :)

Sunday night after church, we went to Pizza Den. Not my favorite but a fun atmosphere!

I just love long weekends. :)

Hope you enjoyed the sweet day off with your friends/family! Can't wait to hear all the exciting stories you did, while I sit at home and do nothing!

Remember those textbook buying days?

Sunday, September 2, 2012

I remember during my college days, standing in line for hours, and spending a fortune on those textbooks that I might have opened once!

I wasn't a diligent reader in college unless it was some awesome book or magazine that all of my friends were reading. But, I always had to find the best deals, it seemed like when I got to Ole Miss. I would search for books on eBay and all the "cheap" places that I felt would save me money.

Well, I was contacted the other day by this company, and I checked out there website and I was impressed.

CampusBookRentals is the place to go to rent those books that you will never pick up again after the class that you take. They also buy other textbooks if you are interested in making a little cash.

I might be needing this soon. :)
