Here it is. 2 more days in my cute little house. How I am going to miss thee!

I am trying my hardest to pack all this junk that I have collected over a year, man! I am blessed. Never realized how much stuff I had until I started packing. haha

I will be living at the Exchange in room 818B! :)

Can't wait.

Almost all of my roomates! :)

My life is moving so fast.

Too bad this guy can't join us for football games anymore. Stupid, stupid.

UPDATE!

I'm moved and living with the parents for 3 weeks. Move out day was hectic, tiring, and bittersweet. Pictures of this day will come soon enough.

You know how your dog acts when you come home and they have been there by theirselves all day? So excited, so happy, and finally peace is in their hearts the minute you walk in the door?

well... I imagine this is exactly how God feels when we as his children fail and run back to him to be held in his arms. This is what I thought of today when I came home and harper came running and biting on my ankles. :)

My savior knows that I fail him often and sooner or later I am going to ask for forgiveness. I hate doing anything that breaks his heart, so WHY do I do it?

So glad that he forgives and forgets. I need to work on being a better christian example for him.

2 more days= Summer Vacation. If you can call it that. I'm ready for a break! 3 classes in the summer is just plain mean!

I'll be spending the next 3 weeks with these sweet girls! We'll play babies, dress up, and swim. :)

Until Next time!

All because two people fell in love.

Happy 37th Anniversary to my mama and daddy!

(July 21)

I could not ask for better role models, supporters, prayer warriors, and all around good people to be my parents.

I'm so glad God does the choosing.

and when the day is done my mama's still my biggest fan.

The Spitting Image of my father.

They hang in there through thick and thin and are a great example of what love truly is.

I love you mama and daddy!

A "doggone" fun Birthday Party.

Thursday, July 22, 2010

Harper turned 1 on July 21, 2010

She had a small party with my family, even though she had no idea what a birthday meant. :)
(We had fun)

Her Cards from Aunt Amy and Nana and Grandaddy! :)
My failed attempt at a sign.

Her look alike cookies that I made.

She got lots of lovin from her nana.

Harper is a mess, a lot of work, but she's worth it!

Getting her voicemail from Aunt Caitlyn!

This is exactly my sentiments for the weekend that I have had. Nothing big planned and relaxation to a minimum. :)

Harper had just left her favorite groomer, Mrs. Rebecca, who did an amazing job on her cut. I love it. Plus little too has to look cute because...

Harper will be 1 on July 21st. :)

(not sure what we are doing for her yet. Any Suggestions)?

I'm in another wedding in September. Haley and Harvey's!
These are the dresses.. very pretty, but oh girl gotta get my tan on.
and.. we are wearing brown shoes. Just had to try it on with high heels! ;)

My grandmother, aka. "MOM" came to our house last Sunday and this is how adventurous this 85 year old woman is. She is precious and makes me laugh all the time.
I couldn't ask for a more loving, caring, adventurous, and spit-fire grandmother in the world.
Thank you God for giving her to me!

I went to see Chad last weekend and ta-da, meet Bull. He's a love machine. So precious!

Now for another week of friends, playing with Harper, pretending to do homework, and living life.

Can't wait.

To God be the glory. :)

Hot and Spicy.

Thursday, July 15, 2010

So. I love spicy food and thought it would be a great idea to try Chick-Fil-A Spicy Chicken Sandwhich.

WoW!

My mouth was on fire. let's just say I won't be having another one of those. It was good, don't get me wrong, but a little tooo hot for my taste.
The week has been busy. School, work, walking Harper around the square in Oxford. She LOVES it. She's a little socialite! :)
Now for the weekend. I'm excited...
Not really sure what's going on but it's the weekend, none the less.
Today would have been my grandaddy's 88th birthday. I was 4 when he died but I am very thankful for the memories that I have of him. Precious man!
Hope you all have a great weekend.

Living by myself.

July Class-Science for Elementary Teachers

Bills, Bills, Bills.

Seems as if I'm growing up! :)

This week I've been by myself because my friend/roomate, Aims, has began her internship in Charlotte. Wanna read her blog, sure you do, go to http://aksimmons.blogspot.com/
. She will keep us up to date with her happenings. :)

I have been thinking a lot lately about getting married, having babies, and becoming the woman God (hopefully) has for me. But I feel as if God is saying, Lauren, I've told you. Be patient. I've got this and I know your perfect and pleasing outcome. Please pray that I have patience. I just want to know that it is going to happen! :)

For the 4th we cooked hamburgers and spent the day at home with family. Nothing excited but perfect for us. Memphis was enjoyed on Saturday and Little Africa was raided again. Do not know what that is, well just ask me! ;)

Another fun week has come and gone in Oxford this week. Yesterday, after starting my 2nd Summer class, the "girls" went swimming. :) Even little Harper got in for a while.

Mascot choices were put online for Ole Miss students, faculty, season-ticket holders, and others to vote on. Embarassment for all of us. The choices are rediculous.

Colonel Reb will always be my mascot!

Little Abel Timothy Caldwell is here. No pictures yet but he is precious!!!

Another good week ahead.
